The caboose features a cozy retreat in an actual caboose in charming Downtown Damascus!Â
For sleeping arrangements for up to six people, it's equipped with one queen bed in private bedroom, and two Full RV sized fold out beds. Â
The kitchen has full sized appliances including fridge, stove, dishwasher, and microwave. Also includes a washer/dryer combo. Also in this area is the dining table that converts into one of the RV sized fold out beds.
The living area has a sofa (the other RV Full sized pull out bed), a 50" Television, and an electric fireplace to enjoy the ambience of chilly nights. Also included is karaoke, an xbox, and several board games.
The bathroom has a walk in shower and bidet.
Bedroom has a queen size bed, and a 40" flat screen tv that remotely folds down from the ceiling for viewing. Â
The deck on the back of the caboose spans the length of the caboose, leaving room for a BBQ grill, dining table and chairs, kayak, rocking chairs, hot tub, and an auto projector screen to enjoy outdoor movie nights.
There is a path to a gazebo with a hammock swing, as well as adirondack chairs and a propane fire pit to enjoy.
Shared space includes a volleyball area with led lights for night play, a playhouse for little ones, a dog washing station, and an art studio/greenhouse.
Nestled in downtown Damascus, with the Virginia Creeper Trail in the front yard and the Little Laurel Creek in the back, it’s your ideal base for exploring the beauty of the area. Relax and recharge!

50% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 7 day(s) before arrival or earlier.

Rates are quoted in U.S. dollars and may vary based on season, length of stay, holidays, local demand, number of guests, and applicable fees. The total booking amount shown at checkout includes the nightly rental rate, required fees, and applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
A 50% prepayment is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 14 days before arrival. Reservations made within 14 days of arrival may require payment in full at the time of booking.
All paid prepayments are non-refundable. Cleaning fees, if charged separately, may be refunded only if the guest does not check in. No security deposit is collected at booking; however, guests remain financially responsible for damage, missing items, excessive cleaning, smoking, unauthorized pets, parties, rule violations, or other charges caused by the guest or members of the guest’s party.
Applicable taxes may include Virginia sales and use tax and Town of Damascus transient occupancy/lodging tax, along with any other tax required by law. Taxes and fees may be collected and remitted by the host, booking platform, payment processor, or accommodation intermediary depending on how the reservation is made.
Rates, fees, taxes, and availability are subject to correction if a technical, clerical, tax-setting, or system error occurs before the reservation is accepted.
